Mayim Stiller
Mayim Stiller, from Seattle, Washington, began his formal training at Oregon Ballet Academy under the direction of John Grensback. He continued his training on scholarships at the Pacific Northwest Ballet and the School of American Ballet, where he performed the lead role in Faust at the end of the year workshop at Lincoln Center.
Stiller began his professional career with Los Angeles Ballet for three seasons, then in 2016 he joined Ballet San Antonio as a corps de ballet member and was promoted to soloist in 2017. He also guested with Alberta Ballet for part of a season. Stiller joined Oklahoma City Ballet in 2020 as a corp de ballet member.
His professional repertoire includes works by George Balanchine, Gerald Arpino, Fredrick Ashton, Jiří Kylián, Kent Stowell, Bruce Wells, Edward Liang, as well as many other classical works. Favorite roles performed include Romeo in Romeo & Juliet, principal man in Round of Angels, Espada in Don Quixote, and Corp Men in Stars and Stripes. Roles Stiller would like to perform include Petite Mort, In the Middle Somewhat Elevated, Playlist (EP), and Million Kisses to my Skin. Stiller has choreographed several pieces and looks forward to continuing to choreograph in the future. He also teaches ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, salsa, and ballroom dance.
