Central Oklahoma Dance Company is a community-oriented, professional contemporary ballet company in Norman, Oklahoma, offering professional ballet, modern and contemporary performance alongside community-centered ballet education.
How we began
Founded in 2018
Sterlin Mosley, Catie Tramel and Aaron Addonizio formed Central Oklahoma Dance Company in 2018 to provide the highest quality of contemporary and classical dance performance and education to everyone. Its performing company, Central Oklahoma Ballet Theatre, debuted in the fall of 2019.
We believe the gift of dance is its ability to uplift, inspire and unite people of all communities. The company values diversity and equity, and works to elevate the voices of marginalized communities through dance.
We are also committed to dance education for people of all ages. The Adult Ballet Collective, run with Askew Ballet Academy, gives dancers of every age and ability level a chance to perform.
