Kristin Kren

Kristin Kren is a Mississippi native, with over 20 years of experience in ballet. She began training at Coast Youth Ballet Academy and then commuted to New Orleans to dance with Delta Festival Ballet and train at their school, Giacobbe’s Academy of Dance. She then had training and choreography opportunities with the dance department at Birmingham-Southern College in Alabama, where she received some additional training with the Alabama Ballet. Summer trainings included the Rock School in Philadelphia, PA, and Ballet Magnificat in Jackson, MS. Kristin was also with the Corpus Christi Ballet as a soloist, until she moved to Oklahoma. In Oklahoma, Kristin received her degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Oklahoma, and has practiced as a Registered Dietitian in Norman for several years specializing in treating eating disorders. Kristin has enjoyed training with the Oklahoma City Ballet in the adult division and dancing at the Oklahoma City Ballet Conservatory as well.  Kristin in thrilled to have this opportunity to express the love of this art in performing with Central Oklahoma Dance Theater.
