Polarities - 2pm Show

  • University of Oklahoma School of Dance 560 Parrington Oval, Room 3002 Norman, OK, 73019 United States (map)

Central Oklahoma Ballet Theatre is delighted to present another captivating performance on May 28th at 2pm and 7pm for an evening of original choreography and artistry in an exploration of Polarities.

Exposing Polarities: Between the Spaces is a contemporary dance performance with original choreography from Oklahoma artists and choreographers which seeks to explore the polarities of the human experience: life/death, black/white, male/female, gay/straight, right/wrong. The intention is to show that life happens between the spaces of these apparent opposites and to showcase the artistry and gifts of diverse Oklahoma dancers and choreographers. Exposing Polarities will engage audiences with the philosophical and practical questions of living between two poles and aims to create an immersive and unique creative experience for Oklahoma audiences.

Show Dates/Times:

Polarities will premiere on May 28th, 2022 at 2pm and 7pm in the University Oklahoma School of Dance, room 3002.
