Alexandra Schooling

Alexandra Schooling, from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, trained with Marcia Dale Weary at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (CPYB), and Viktor Yeliohin at Ballet Theatre of Lancaster before graduating with honors from Butler University with degrees in Dance Performance and Peace and Conflict Studies. At Butler University, she performed featured roles such as Carabosse in The Sleeping Beauty and Arabian in The Nutcracker. She also had the opportunity to create leading roles in works by various choreographers.

Schooling joined Oklahoma City Ballet as an apprentice in 2016 and was promoted to the corps de ballet in 2018. Her repertoire includes works by Robert Mills, George Balanchine, Penny Saunders, Septime Webre, Michael Pink, August Bournonville, Derek Reid, and Susan McGuire. Her favorite roles include Arabian in The Nutcracker and Pushing Pennies pas de deux by Robert Mills, Second Theme Soloist in The Four Temperaments and corps de ballet in Serenade by George Balanchine as well as Undead and Suffragette in Michael Pink’s Dracula. Schooling received Outstanding Performance Awards from Butler University in 2014 and 2015 and is currently teaching at CeCe Farha’s Range of Motion Dance Studio
