The Adult Ballet Collective
A performance group for adult dancers
The Adult Ballet Collective is a group of amateur adult ballet dancers and dance enthusiasts of varying experience who perform in and around Norman and the Oklahoma City metro. The Collective partners with Askew Ballet Academy and its director, Penny Askew, an accomplished dance educator, adjudicator and choreographer.
The Collective is open to anyone regardless of age, physical ability, size, race, sex or gender. Beginners, retired professionals, dance teachers and former recreational or pre-professional dancers aged 14 and up are all welcome to perform works of ballet, modern and contemporary dance.
The Collective rehearses at Askew Ballet Academy in Oklahoma City and performs twice a year in a studio recital.
